Rockin' Hot
Se all'inizio il Rock'n'Roll è nato come una costola del Blues e si è "sporcato" di C&W per far ballare i giovani "puliti", è diventato poi con il tempo un vero e proprio atto di rivoluzione e ribellione. E' nato tutto "ufficialmente" con "Rock Around the Clock" di Bill Haley che ha avuto la fortuna di diventare la colonna sonora del film "Blackboard Jungle" poi additata come opera facinorosa. Da quel momento in poi la società americana, e non solo, non è più stata la stessa. Sotto la bandiera del R'n'R si sono ritrovate generazioni e razze che fino a poco tempo prima erano in collisione fra loro ed ha scosso tutto il mondo con 12 battute di musica "infernale".
Long Live Rock'n'Roll.

Just finished listening to the CD. Good Job. Whoever was playing the Slide guitar, is dam good. I couldn't tell if it was a Harmonica or not, but that was good also. The first song is a hit. Get that one on the radio.

I'm listening to your cd right now. Really nice ! I love the guitar, great western swing/rock and roll feel. You've got some great chops . I see Bruno marini on the cd. Bruno was good friends with my buddy Jimmy Carl Black . We had a band together for over ten years. Jimmy and I also did 2 cd's together. I love the chicken picken sound you have, reminds me of Mickey Gee. Mickey was a legend and friend of mine. Check him out on the internet. The piano is great too, love it ! Thanks for the cd. Sono un chitarrista di Rock'n'Roll.
Amo il Rock'n'Roll sin da quando avevo 14 anni ed ho imparato ascoltando i miei idoli che sono, tra i tanti, CHUCK BERRY e BRIAN SETZER degli STRAY CATS. E' vero... amo anche il Blues ed ho avuto la fortuna di vedere STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN e B.B.KING che sono stati un'ulteriore fonte d'ispirazione.
A 20 anni, insieme ad una storica banda veronese di “pazzi” che va sotto il nome di “F.U.C.K.”, suono i classici del R'n'R oltre che brani propri. Giro il Nord Italia e mi esibisco in numerose città come Vicenza, Padova,Treviso, Belluno, Brescia, Reggio Emilia, Mantova, ecc...
Dopo l'uscita dal gruppo il Blues diventa la mia nuova forma di espressione e, insieme al chitarrista Marco Gasparini, formo il gruppo dei “LONE WOLF”. Nel frattempo divento allievo di TOLO MARTON (ex ORME) e partecipo, con quest'ultimo e con il Bluesman texano JOHN KANADY, ad alcune jam sessions.
Tra le mie innumerevoli jam session posso citare la partecipazione con musicisti importanti e conosciuti come, ad esempio, BOBBY SOLO, RUDY ROTTA, TRUTZ “VIKING” GROTH (ex KIM & THE CADILLACS), JAY MONQUEDEE, WILLIE BYRNE (chitarrista collaboratore fra le altre dei LYNYRD SKYNYRD), DIEGO FAINELLO (SONOHRA) e LUCA OLIVIERI (già chitarrista con JAMES BURTON,JOHN JORGENSON, TOMMY EMMANUEL, JOHN HILAND, ecc...)
Nel 1993 mi sono trasferito per un periodo in Texas (USA) e precisamente ad Austin. In quel periodo ho potuto suonare con vari artisti e in numerose jam sessions in clubs come il JOE'S GENERIC BAR, il CLUB 311, L'HEADLINER EAST e l'AUSTIN OUTHOUSE con la JIM TALBOT BLUES BAND e con WALTER HIGGS, quest'ultimo per altro già collaboratore dei maggiori Bluesmen americani come, ad esempio, ALBERT COLLINS.
Successivamente mi trasferisco in Irlanda, a Dublino. Quì, suono spesso al RUMPOLE'S BLUES BAR dove sono invitato dalla INTERNATIONAL BLUES BAND a presiedere ad alcune jam sessions e, di passaggio in Francia, a Nizza suono con i BOOTLEGGERS, conosciuta e quotata Rock-a-Billy band.
Nel 2009 sono ospite ad un biker party presso lo SNOWY OWL a WATERVILLE VALLEY nel NEW HAMPSHIRE. Recentemente ho avuto l'opportunità di suonare con l'icona del Rock'n'Roll italiano BOBBY SOLO. Inoltre ho avuto l'onore di essere stato ospite già per tre volte (2014 - 2015 - 2016) al Teatro Romano per un'iniziativa benefica a favore di ABEO. Tra i lavori più interessanti c'è la collaborazione con MARCO GASPARINI dei LONE WOLF per il quale scrivo quasi per intero i testi del CD “TO BLUES OR NOT TO BLUES” e quelli del nuovo CD di prossima pubblicazione, con VLADIMIRO MARINESI della VLADI BLUES BAND per il quale scrivo i testi del CD “3939 HANCOCK STREET” pubblicato anche negli Stati Uniti.
Di recente ho pubblicato un lavoro che porta il semplice titolo di "ROCK'N'ROLL" con 8 brani originali ed una cover di Muddy Waters.
E' disponibile anche il secondo lavoro che si intitola "right attitude" e che comprende brani shuffle, country e covers riarrangiate in maniera personale.
Il mio repertorio non è solamente composto da Rock'n'Roll nel significato più stretto ma comprende anche un po' di Blues, di Country, di Zydeco...e lo puoi sentire nel mio nuovo CD "ROCK'N'ROLL".
